I mic this drum up and add some EQ and reverb, and I get so many comments from people in my audience regularly about how big it sounds. Sometimes people ask if it’s a trigger, because they can’t believe all that sound is coming out of such a shallow kick drum. It fits in a 24†cymbal bag easily with a matching snare drum. I Love it, and Highly reccomend it.

Great sound considering it's only 3 1/2 " d. so a little dampening and a mic will help. its portability is unmatched and It is DW quality. My jungle set up loves it.

The drum is solid. I give it a three because the pictures show a foot pedal. Even though it says drum is included in the box. No where does it say foot pedal NOT included.

I added a 20 in bass gong by DrumWorkshop to my kit.I also trigger this drum through my roland tm2 module!

I bought this for my wife. She plays this in church. It is the right volume for traditional style hymns and such.I also bought her a bag for it. It is the 24 x 4 inch bag, it will not however close over the leg 'ears' but it does protect it.She uses a DW 2000 pedal with it.
