It works well for me. i bought 2. One for my car, i am short and can sit up straight and see over the steering wheel. I use th other one for my chair while playing on the computer! Comfortable, good value for the $$. it is firm!

I am skinny with no cushion on my butt. When I sit for long periods at my computer, my rear tends to hurt. I already have other seat cushions like this one, so I am giving this review based on my experience with those other seat cushions. Build quality is excelent - very nicely finished. Size is the same as the others - which is to say that it fills out a good office/computer chair. Cushion - that is where this get subjective - for my rear, this cusion is way too soft. When I sit on it, it collapses far too easily and doesn't provide a firm but supportive cradle for my butt. Compared to the other seat cushions I have this cushion is only slightly better than not having a cushion at all. I am giving this to my wife, who is slightly heavy set, and it seems to work for her. As I have stated - this review is based on my preferences in a seat cushion - and I feel it is way too soft to provide any comfort level for my skinny rear. If you are average build or heavier, this might work for you just fine.

This cushion was purchased for an elderly man with pain issues in his legs which prevented him from sitting for long spells on chairs with no support. He uses the cushion every day. He says it works better on an arm chair than on the work chair behind his desk. He is able to sit for several hours in the armchair without getting up.
