I am older and could not step high enough to the bumper to get into the truck bed. With this step in place I can now get into the truck bed without a ladder. There are two things that could make this Item even better. The step should be a grate rather than solid because of snow and ice. Also, something should be incorporated to accept a trailer with this step in place.

The price is definitely cheap.The product came to me already rusty. Very thin metal and the plastic cover will not stay due to poor engineering.If you are looking for cheap and something you need to paint, this is your product.

The item was bought to protect the rear of the car from parking lot impacts. It was less than a third the price of the name brands like GoRhino. The welds are crappy and it is black powder coat vs stainless steel, but for the intended use and the super low price, I am happy with it.
