Tool worked with some tweaking. The only problem with it was the paint. It's painted on the inside that goes over the crankshaft. So it doesn't fit correctly. Once I cleaned the paint off the surface that contacts the crankshaft it fit like a glove. No biggie.

For the price, it will work, but it needs to be modified. Take a square file and file the notch out and a round file to take a little off the inside of the opening for the crank. The paint on the tool makes the item too small for the key to fit. Also needed to take off about 1/8 of an inch off the end of it, as it was hitting the a/c compressor. The instructions didn’t say 5.4 2v specifically, but it didn’t exclude it. Says something about all 5.4 and 6.8L engines. 3 stars for insufficient description, the need to modify it, and the price.

Well, it would be a nice tool but is is off by several degrees maybe 8-10 you would also have to grind off part of the end just to clear the locating dowel for the cover. I had to verify TDC not just by string and plum Bob, but as a double check I just put timing cover back on to verify TDC on balancer. It's definitely off by several degrees
