This is exactly what I hoped it would be and now every lens I already owned for my canon camera fits on my new Sony cinema cam. Unfortunately, the delivery company they use was absolute garbage and significantly delayed the delivery claiming weather interference despite the fact that there was no bad weather where I lived, and I literally watched trucks from the exact same delivery company dropping stuff off to all my neighbors on a daily basis while I just sat and waited for over an extra week for something I paid extra for an earlier delivery of yet did not get reimbursed that money. So for that reason, while I absolutely recommend the product , I would NOT recommend buying from this seller because whether or not you actually get the item is a total crapshoot.

Without seeing any questions, answers and reviews, I wasn't feeling confident when I was making the purchase. When received, I put it on my Canon lens to my Sony A7IV one by one, all of them worked perfectly, auto focusing is fast and accurate. Images taken from Sony A7IV are much sharper than from my Canon 6D.The only thing missing is that when the lens is put on "Manual focus", A7IV does not show the enlarged image on the view finder like Sony lenses do.Tested lenses are: 135mm f2, 70-300mm f4-5.6, 24-105mm f4-5.6 ,85mm f1.8, 17-40mm f4.The adapter does not have the rubber sealing ring so it’s not waterproof.The C/P button does not have any indicator, you cannot tell which mode it is in.There is a mini usb interface inside the adapter, but I found no mention of this in the user manual.Overall it works like it it says and it’s exactly what I was looking for.

It works like it should but switching the autofocus mode is very unreliable and confusing.

If you are looking to have an adapter that can focus your canon lenses well. this is not the one for you. Unfortunately only had this in NY for a photoshoot I was doing and had to rely on manual focus the entire time. Which ended up in taking more time and missing more shots than I would like to. Don't get this if you think you're going to use AutoFocus.

Greate product works fine with canon lenses. But ut there are some trivks to make it work. Need to click the button on it and re mount

My expectations were high. That’s why I am giving it a three star. Its focus response is very slow when using a variable lens it has a very hard time focusing on details above 50 mm and I also was very surprised that there was no distortion among the edges of my pictures, I can see that I am satisfied that it does operate exactly as it is described. I have a large assortment of canon lenses that I did not want to collect dust as I transferred over to the Sony family I will continue to use the adapter so that I can master its full potential , and elevate my photography services to the next level.

Read a few reviews that were both positive and negative. Regardless, I decided to pick it up. It did function well... not good, not great. Limited in camera functions as well as lens use. It's now a bookend, and very handsome in that new role. Pick this up as your own risk. Anyone want mine? Used less than 10mins during testing.
