I bought this kit specifically to use with RPS otherwise known as rotary power scissors. It is simple to remove the edger end and swap on RPS using the correct adapter and shim from the RPS kit. One thing you may consider is drilling a small hole in the carbon fiber shaft at 90 degrees from current one where the RPS or edger head inserts. Rationale, is that this allows for axial alignment of the power head and RPS. If not, the ROS will be 90 degrees off axis. Not a huge deal but lines it up correctly for horizontal trimming without twisting the whole power head in your hand. The PH1420 power head seems more than adequate. I will post updates once grass starts growing in the Spring.

Make sure you have the battery charger and proper battery. Device works great, light weight, not very noisey.No more gas, no more oil, no more spark plugs and air filters.

Husband uses this weekly. Decent cutting power, but battery could last a bit longer.
