A year later, they still work well and are easily washable. Definitely recommend! It has several heat level and timer settings. It’s soft and comfortable. I got the throw size and use out every day. Colors are perfect. Good value for the cost.

I was nervous about purchasing this electric heating blanket. Because of the low price and the feedback about it sliding around or off the bed etc. I have really nice quality microfiber sheets, so I was concerned that they would be too smooth and silky for our King size bed. I was also worried that my silky beadspred would slide all over the place by being on top of the silky soft electric blanket. But our first night sleep last night was a breeze. Everything stayed in place.My only two issue is (1) the controller is a bit short. They really needed to make it longer. I uses command slips to mount the controls to the bed frame, which just barely reach our heads. But it isn't a big deal. Actually it is right at our fingertips, which is convenient enough. But I also wishing we had just a little longer so I would not worry about tugging the connectors, they seem to lock in well enough. But I still will check them every night and every morning. Just as a precaution. (2) us that it does not come on automatically. BUT>>>>> that is also something we will not have to remember to do if we go away for a trip, we will not have to make sure to turn the auto button to off. So this is actually a super good safety step not having to worry about that or malfunctions.. All in all I think it is amazing and so soft and it is so wonderful crawling into a warm bed at night. My husband says he actually prefers that it will not automatically come on. But it does have temperature and will allow you to set how many hours you want it to run while your in bed. So it is perfect. I would recommend it thus far. I will follow up in about 3 months or so. Then again next winter. Once we have had time to truly use it for a longer period of time.

We bought this blanket for my son who works at the Grand Canyon in an employee cabin. These cabins don't have central heat or air. For heat he uses a simple space heater but when the temp drops he says it is too cold.This blanket allows him to bundle his bedding and layer this in between and keeps him warm. The quality and functionality are good. This blanket was a good value for what we paid and he says he is happy with it.

Very warm, very soft, and we love the shearling bottom side (plus it makes it easy to see which is the top and which is the bottom). I haven't yet turned it up past 4 (but it goes to 9), but my wife has turned it up to 9. The left and right sides are independent with separate controllers and separate plugs so if one side goes out, the other will stay warm. I like the green color but it isn't quite as bright a green as it appears on the screen. The only thing I would change is that in the dark it isn't easy to see which number represents the heat level on the controller, and which number represents the number of hours the blanket will stay warm. It would be better if the numbers were different colors or sizes or one above the other or if the labels for the numbers were backlit (but this is a minor issue).

I read all the reviews and was initially concerned about the "not warm enough" comments. My plan was to use it on my side of our king size bed b/c my husband is always hot and I am always freezing. The twin size would have interloped on his side of the bed, so I thought the throw size would work best. At first, I plugged it in and just let it sit on a table. After 10 minutes, I felt it and thought it was not warm enough, like a few of the reviews said. I went back to the reviews and read a comment which said it is best to use it between your sheet and cover on your bed (which was my plan, but not my first effort). I did this and it was like magic. Now, I heat up the throw about 10 minutes before I go to bed at the highest setting number 9, and when ready for bed turn it off and turn it on again to reset the timer to 9 full hours, and lower the heat to the number 4 setting and I am warm but not hot or overheated all night. Perfect for my needs.

Purchased the throw in purple and dark green for my senior cats and dogs. They love them so much, I ordered two more in purple and charcoal. They're soft and have a 10 hr auto shut off option. I keep the heat level on 1 and it keeps the kids toasty and comfortable. Easy to set the temp and time, light weight. As for design, I do wish the electrical cord was longer to reach my outlets easier, but we made do.

We have been using this blanket for a month now and we would say that it has been a terrific addition to our bed for the winter. The product seems well made and is very functional. The material is soft and cozy. The heated area of the blanket is basically the whole surface area of a queen mattress from side to side and from foot to just under the pillow. We find the unit to be relatively quick to warm - we often turn it on shortly after dinner so it is super toasty at bed time.As others have noted it does seem to shed. Assuming that this will go away once washed. We have ours above the sheet and below the comforter so haven't had to wash yet. There are also comments about the controls - for me they were intuitive, for my partner they were confusing. A month in and no issues. The adjustability of the time and temperature are great features and work well once you understand how to use them.The blanket provides a measure of thermal add even with the heat off. This doesn't bother me but my partner pushes the blanket off her before going to sleep. The fabric is super soft.This unit has been a great purchase and here's hoping it lasts a long time.
