Your cart is empty.Our ceiling medallion collections are modeled after original historical patterns and designs. Our artisans then hand carve an original piece. Being hand carved each piece is richly detailed with deep relief, sharp lines, and a truly unique touch. That master piece is then used to create a mold master. Once the mold master is created we use our high density urethane foam to form each medallion. The finished look is a beautifully detailed, light WEIGHT, solid construction, focal piece. The resemblance to original plaster medallions is achieved only by using our high density urethane and not vacuum formed, "plastic" type medallions. - medallions can be cut using standard woodworking tools to add a Hole for electrical or a ceiling fan CANOPY. - medallions are light WEIGHT for easy installation. - they are fully primed and ready for your paint. Our home is over 100 years old, and we're still working towards banishing the 60's/70's design choices made by a previous owner, and adding in some elements that feel a bit more appropriate. I ordered this medallion when we found out the ceiling underneath the old florescent light was not painted underneath....but only after the electrician installed the new light fixture.The ends of each half line up well which will make the install very simple, the detail is good, and this is SO lightweight that it will hold very well with construction adhesive. I ordered the unfinished version so I could paint it to match the overall look we're going for with the kitchen refresh. Very easy to paint as well!

These medallions are very detailed. I originally was going to paint them to match the hardware on the fan but loved the white. We used heavy duty gorilla glue and two of us centered them for the perfect fit. Each Medallion has specific measurements so you have to do your due diligence to order the correct one for your project. It took just minutes to put them up.

To cover difference in ceiling paint. Replaced a square light feature with a fan with round crown. The piece just will not stay glue in place.
