These shears are very good for cutting up to about 1.5" branches. They have as much power as a Dewalt pruning shear I bought before for compatibility with my battery platform. I ought these as another pair for a cottage. They are smaller and lighter than the Dewalt... and cost $50 less. As long as the battery holds out I will be happy.

Working in the Texas heat during the summer is brutal. I have Texas Live Oaks and landscaping bushes that require trimming year round. The Drargo shears make the job easier and saves a lot of time. These shears have minimal lag and works as quick as you can pull the trigger.I’ve cut branches up to 2 inches with no problems.The tool, batteries and charger come in a compact case for storage. The only recommendation I have is to watch out for the latches, they are plastic and slightly loose.The shears have a locking feature that keeps the blades closed when storing it; press and hold the trigger and turn the power off, remove the battery.This tool is powerful and quick. Do NOT put your fingers anywhere near the blades without the tool powered off and battery removed.To open the blades, install the battery, turn the switch on, double press the trigger twice.I wish I had bought a tool like this years ago rather than using manual loppers. It would have saved so much time and energy.

My Dragro battery operated pruning shears arrived yesterday so the first thing I did was to charge both batteries after reading the instruction manual. It took a little over an hour to charge each of them so that I would be ready to prune today. I had four rose bushes on my list to accomplish today and I've now got them done. I am very impressed with how well they worked and the much shorter amount of time it took me to get the job done. I have arthritis and I didn't do a very good job last year due to pain but that never happened today. They cut through the branches like butter, even for the old dead wood that I had missed last year. This years pruning was a much better job due to these new pruners.I would agree that one really needs to be paying attention when using them as they are very quick and could do major damage if you don't focus on the job.I can't speak to how long they will last, how long the blade stays sharp, or even the battery charge at this point. It only took me about three hours to do a decent job on the roses which were not in such great shape. I came in, took off the battery, and immediately cleaned the pruners so that they are ready to go tomorrow to finish what I didn't get done today.UPDATE:I've used these about 6 times since my first post. The battery life was impressive at about 6 hours. I've made it a point to clean them after each use before storing them and haven't yet needed to sharpen them. I've used them on Crepe Myrtles, Japanese Maples, roses, and Iris leaves and they have done an incredible job on everything so far. Highly recommend these.

We have used these heavily for a year pruning trees in our orchard. They do a great job and are holding up well. Battery lasts for at least a couple of hours of steady pruning. They are a better design than our previous ones that had the small square battery that snapped into the handle. Eventually the little plastic tabs that hold the battery in break and the tool becomes useless. (Here's hoping the robot that summarizes reviews realizes I am describing a different product in that last sentence.)

I bought this one quite a while ago. But I wait until now to have my feedback. It was designed efficiently on either left or right hand. Easy to hold and sharper than I was expecting. Stronger, faster and long last battery are also the good comments for this tool.

These work really well, very sharp. Surprising the size of branch they cut. My arthritic hands do not struggle OR hurt using them. Makes quick work of trimming

When the package arrived I checked the content and it was incomplete. According to the instruction manual there should be a little container with lubricant in the box, it is not.The instruction manual states that you need to use it twice a day.I could not find anywhere on the website where I could contact anyone.

Bonjour.J'ai acheté ce sécateur il y à moins de deux ans et déjà une batterie HS et je n'arrive pas à trouver de batteries de remplacement, pas sérieux du tout surtout à ce prix.Si non très bon matériel qui coupe de bonne section de branches verte.Si quelqu'un à trouvé des batteries de remplacement je suis preneur.Cordialement.Bruno
