This yarn baller is HORRIBLE. I got it fully set up, turned it on, and it works for maybe a few seconds and stops. If it feels even the slightest, tiniest hint of tension, the motor turns off. Even without tension, the yarn baller turned off after a few seconds for no reason whatsoever.There are stronger motors in children's toys. This also doesn't ball the yarn evenly and I have to re-ball it anyway. All in all, do not bother with this, it's a complete waste of your money.

Bought for my granddaughter- she crochets a lot and this helps keep her yarn ready and organized and saves wear on her wrist

I bought one. it failed after less than 12 hours operating on fine weight and worsted weight yarn. gave them the benefit of the doubt and requested a replacement sent instead of a refund. the second unit started making loud grounding noises when used on MAX speed on worsted weight yarn on the SECOND SKEIN OF CARON'S SIMPLY SOFT YARN that i attempted to wind. Don't waste your money. get a good manual winder.

Recieved today. Was so excited. Worked great for the 1st yarn ball...then wasted 4 hours fought it every other try with the same yarn weight and type. Even after reading all of the paperwork to make sure I wasn't doing something wrong, still could not get a yarn ball no matter what I tried. It just bunches up, makes 2 balls at once, or gets wrapped up under the base. Save your money. Buy a manual yarn winder or make your own by hand and save yourself the frustration and time! This is a worthless, sorry excuse of a product and I will be returning it immediately.

This product does not work! It knots the yarn into two balls instead of winding it neatly into a cake. It is not strong enough to pull the yarn out of the skeins. I tried multiple yarns and even tried to pre pull the yarn out to help the tension. It still only made a knotted mess that I will have to throw out. Complete waste of money do not buy!

Le morceau qui doit serrer l'appareil sur un meuble pourrait être plus solide car lorsqu'on commence à faire rouler la laine il ne tient pas bien en place.
