I cord maker. This works it takes time to figure out. Once you get the hang of it works great. I do have one question about it. It works great with the yarn that came with it. but when i tried black 4 ply year or waist wait yarn it gummed up really bad!! So my question is what size yarn should it take? because the yarn that came with it was the same size and all that just no block or dark colors..

Defective Product. I have successfully used one of these devices previously, from another manufacturer. I have tried to use this one, carefully following the instructions 6 times, Persisting just to give it a chance to work properly and to make sure it is not due to “operator error “. The latches on the needles do not consistently open to catch the yarn. Also, the fuzz of the yarn gets caught on the needles, preventing the cord from descending down the tube. The crank handle keeps detaching from the device. It is an inconvenience to return the product, plus I have read that returns just go into the landfill garbage, anyway, so very wasteful. So, seller named “Bulevinaâ€, what do you recommend I do to repair this? 1. I could try oiling the joint of the needle latches 2. I could use a yarn or cord with less fuzziness. What say you?

Not easy to start, but it does work when you know what you’re doing. It doesn’t have very many uses, so for that it’s a bit over priced in my opinion, but for what it does, it does work consistently well enough.

Just have patience with this and it’ll work correctly. Read all directions. I like it for now, until I buy the automatic one

The latches don't open. The gears stick. I cannot recommend against this strongly enough. Mini skeins are fine.

My daughter is an avid crocheter and beginner knitter, so she's excited about this product. The color is nice and the selection of mini skeins are great. She's looking forward to trying it out soon.
