Definitely the best. We’ve bought like five for my wife’s Tik Tok videos. Most are usb powered and cheap. This is hefty and quality. We bought the base and arm to mount the phone. All in it is pricey but definitely worth it. We are at over 250k followers and growing. People always comment on how good the lighting is. We even grabbed a second one to mount on the desk and one we can move. We also use the supporting key lights to add side lighting.

This light was everything I hoped for. Zero hint of any flicker, and the adjustable color temperature has enough range to allow me to set it perfectly. I use this for my workbench and it provides the perfect lighting for the projects I do.

7/7/2024 Revision:I'm revising my review because of the wonderful support from Elgato/Corsair. However, I will leave my original review below this edit for transparency. Customer support reached out to me with concern over the melted and exposed wiring that resulted in an accidental shock. They offered a free product and a replacement charger, which, in my opinion, is above and beyond, especially these days. Because of this, I'm changing my rating to 5 stars. Even though this was a rare fault that resulted in bodily harm, things do happen. It made me realize that even the best products can have faults, but customer care did a wonderful job resolving the issue for me.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Original Review:BUYER BEWARE: RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK FROM DEFECTIVE POWER SUPPLY!The ring light worked fine initially, but then it wouldn’t turn on. While checking the cables, my wife received a severe electric shock, resulting in physical harm. The small black box connecting to the light had melted, exposing wires that caused the shock. Thankfully, it didn’t start a fire or shock anyone else. I searched for a replacement cable online, but it's unavailable on their website. Now, the light is practically useless.

There's just something about opening a box and finding a well built (insert your item here) inside. It leaves a first impression of a brand or product that you'll take with you forever. The opposite can also be true, no one likes finding a flimsy (insert item here) in their delivery package. El Gato has won me over as a brand simply for the great construction of this light and stand, and for another item I purchased from them. Kudos to you, El Gato.

I use just about everything el gato and this is a great ring light. My only issue is that it shakes along with the table and you might want to invest in a heavy base(not sure if it will work). The ring light is great overall though. You can adjust it and change the brightness and it is great if you are using your phone or dslr, it can easily handle it.

My son is a serious gamer and picked this one out for xmas. He loves it. Adjustable height and brightness. He no longer needs the smaller lights on the left or right of him. He has also bought other gaming products from this company and is very pleased

I own a few Elgato lights and i will say they are super bright, well made and never had any issues. I figure i would pickup the ring light to add to the collection. Well i unboxed it for about an hour and sent it back. The build quality compared to there other lighting has gone down! The ring light is made of all thin cheap plastic. If you mount anything other than a webcam to it, The mount is flimsy and the camera shakes and moves around. Even a light weight Sony A6400 with a pancake lens would shake and move around anytime i would touch my desk.I also noticed the clamp is now screwed to the mounting pole ( on the key lights they are welded ) this is also another reason why the mounting pole and ring light itself is so flimsy and will shake around.This is a very overpriced ring light BUT i was willing to look past that to stay within the Elgato ECO system but since the quality has gone down and since this thing cant handle anything more than a webcam, I sent it right back.Save your money folks! Not even sure how this has 4 1/2 stars? Elgato must be giving these things out like candy for positive reviews...

Grabbed this whilst it was at a bargain price. I've already brought into the Elgato universe and have a couple of key lights and mobile lights, along with its Facecam Pro, mic etc.... The lighting really does make so much of a difference. But I was shocked at the size of the box when it arrived! The ring is huge, with plenty of space for a DSLR if required inside this thing and it comes complete with a Short Mount and all the bits you need to set it up with. Soon had it up and working and it works a treat, added easily to my control center to control the lights and and also on the stream deck. It certainly is bright and adds a good light which makes the cam look a lot more professional. And it just has a lot more quality than a lot of brands, but at the knockdown price of £119, I wasn't going to miss out and am glad I made the purchase. It's just bigger than I expected which doesn't make it quite so portable, but I doubt that I'll want to move it around that much, be aware, just in case you are looking for something compact and bijou, if you are, this isn't the light for you! But it's good quality and build, looks like it'll last, and works well so far, I'm happy with this and happy to recommend it if you are in need of a large ring light to basque you in a golden glow..... and grab it on amazon whilst its reduced!

Ik gebruik deze Ringlight zowel voor mijn online meetings als voor het opnemen van video's. Er zijn goedkopere lichten beschikbaar, maar bij deze merk je wel het verschil. Veel mooiere belichting en heel makkelijk te bedienen via de app of nog makkelijker via de streamdeck.

Ich hatte die Bestellung für das Elgato Ring Light vor ein paar Wochen schon mal abgeschickt und dann gleich wieder storniert - ich hatte Bedenken wegen der vielen Kommentare, dass die Halterung / das Ringlicht knarzen.Nun habe ich einen zweiten Anlauf gewagt... und bin sehr zufrieden!!!Das Licht ist ausgezeichnet: die Regelung der Farbtemperatur bietet eine wunderbare Möglichkeit, das Licht in seiner Umgebung natürlich aussehen zu lassen und die Helligkeit ist auch in einem etwas abgedunkelten Raum mehr als ausreichend.Und vor allem: DA KNARZT ABSOLUT NICHTS! Das Licht ist am Tisch montiert (kein massiver Eichentisch wie bei einem der Vorrezensenten, bei dem es trotzdem knarzt), alle Schrauben und dergleichen ausreichend fest angezogen - kein Geräusch, auch wenn man tippt und sogar der Monitor durch die Bewegungen etwas mitschwingt.Wer ein tolles Ringlicht sucht und wen der höhere Preis nicht abschreckt, der kann beruhigt zuschlagen.

Este producto me ha sorprendido muy gratamente. Me ha ahorrado muchÃsimo espacio porque ahora tengo el aro de luz y el soporte de la camara y sujeto al borde de la mesa en un mismo brazo. No me ocupa espacio sobre la mesa ni en el suelo y no lo tengo que recoger.El anillo de luz se puede controlar manualmente con dos botones con los que puede controlar la calidez de la luz y la intensidad de la luz. También tiene un botón de encendido/apagado en la parte inferior, pero como se puede manejar con la aplicación en el ordenador o con el Stream Deck (si se dispone de él) lo dejo siempre en "on" y es más fácil controlarlo desde ahà (también hay app para movil pero no la he probado). Se conecta vÃa wifi y es facilÃsimo y sin complicaciones al configurarlo.El soporte para la cámara es muy sólido y sujeta de maravilla y se puede inclinar. Viene también con un soporte para poder colocar móviles.La abrazadera de la mesa es un mecanismo muy sencillo pero agarra perfectamente y viene con unas gomas que no dañan la mesa si se aprieta demasiado.Viene con distintos tipos de enchufe para las distintas tomas, asà que vale para cualquier paÃs.
