Unlike the style that looks more like a vice grip pliars jaw, these will clamp all the way down to the drill press table on both my benchtop and floor standing drill presses. It's exactly what I wanted. They're easy to use and I got them for an excellent price.

The clamps hold tight but are a bit big for a 9†drill press.

These are the largest size I would want for my home benchtop drill press. Together, these two do a great job of holding down a cheap drill press vise I got from Amazon.Were I to buy these again, I would get something like 6-8", but these 9" work for some purposes ONLY IF you use both of them, as they can only hold things at the very edge of the ~7-8" table of my bench vise.They seem strong and durable enough for the DIYer

These are nice vice grip clamps and fit my benchtop drill press table just fine. They are easy to adjust and perhaps just an inch too long/big, but still work well.I will say that they will not clamp down tightly on 1/16" sheet metal without putting a little something on top (even a penny would do).A good value and recommended.
