I bought a couple of LED panels for location video shoots and the stands were too short. I purchased these fully expecting to return them. But, to my pleasant surprise, the quality and sturdiness of these stands impressed me. And the carry bag is equally good.

This was my first purchase from Emart and I'm happy I took the chance. The 8.5ft light sticks are awesome! So is the price. Lightweight and very sturdy. I would put these in the "prosumer" category. Customer service is fantastic. The light stands were slightly damage during shipping not the fault of Emart. There was a gouge in the box and the stand was bent. I contacted customer service and they sent a new set!I highly recommend the light stands. Take a chance like I did, you will not be sorry.

I purchased these light stands to replaces a pair that came with a soft box lighting kit. These are a HUGE upgrade. The light stands that came with the kit would start to bend when raised over 4 feet. They were flimsy and unsteady and when raised to 6 feet, it was like to trying to support something on top of a fishing pole. These Emart Light stands have a wide based, constructed out of heavy duty aluminum, and are rock solid. Even up to 8 feet! All of this and they come with a carrying bag. Absolutely worth spending the extra money on these to shoot with confidence.

The was an upgrade from the weak stands that I have been using for years. They are a nice sturdy upgrade.

These stands are a great deal and helped me find stands stout enough to hold my 5lb Ridgid LED lights. Stands are thicker than regular tripod stands for photography. Yes, it can be a little wobbly when extended to it highest point with these heavy lights, but if it’s windy I’ll adjust to a lower height for better stability.For throwing cornhole bags at night, these stands will get the light plenty high enough to illuminate the cornhole boards so we can play well after dark without excuses that I cant see the board. I looked for hours for the right tripods to hold a heavy light and at this price I would highly recommend. I’m sure there are heavier duty tripods, but you’ll pay triple the price for two. If you are going to use these every day in a construction site, you probably want to pay for the extra heavy duty tripods. But for my needs, I couldn’t be more happy.

I wouldn't use theses for traveling and shooting 5 days a week but for weddings, special events, home studios etc. these stands are great. They are stronger, bigger and a little tougher than most stands you get at this price. They are also spring loaded which is really nice. I have four of these. They have replaced all of my other light stands.

These are heavy duty stands. I purchased them to use with some 550 bicolor led lights, and a ring light. It’s overkill for how lightweight the lights are, but is perfect for someone who needs something sturdy for heavier lights, or moving to different locations. The stands are almost all metal except for the knobs to tighten the stand. I never realized how useful having a spring was in the extension pieces, because it prevents the lights from slamming down when you loosen them. The only thing I dislike with the lights are the wide footprint they take up. My space for using them in home for photography is quite small. The wide footprint though is what makes them stable. They will be great for people that have the space. Also, they are packed very tightly in the shipping box. Don’t use a knife on the middle part of the box. I did so carefully and still cut one of the carrying bags.

A pesar de ser chinos son de una excelente calidad. Si están bastante grandes, muy muy grandes. Estilo Hollywood más o menos. La funda esta excelente. Vienen muy bien protegidos. Miden más de dos metros abiertos completamente. Muy satisfecho con esta compra.

Good quality but while extending the bottom section it squeaks may be just this piece.But overall happy with the product. Its sturdy and does not bend even with my 48in diffuser.

The legs of these stands sound as if they are going to rattle right off. If you pick the stand off the ground and shake it it sounds as if it’s broken. Very loose and wobbly. At least a couple inches of movement back and forth. Once you put some weight on it and sandbag it down it’s not bad, but won’t leave you feeling confident about that expensive piece of gear perched on it.
