i got this with a pinecil v2, seems like a good item. 2 sponges, they feel durable, the case doesnt quite line up the little notches? that purely visual and aesthetic though, not functional.overall, this will be my lil stand while i learn soldering. im happy with this, do not regret spending my money. (the stupid taisoner phone mount though.. regret that, not related to this review tho lol)

The unit is sturdy and the rubber on the bottom of both pieces keeps them from sliding around--a real plus. However, it would have been nice if the sponge holder were integral to the iron holder--rather than a separate piece that you have to remove to use. That said, I like the fact that the sponge holder seals tight for transport, so you don't have to make sure it's dry before packing into your tool box.

J'ai acheté ce support pour fer à souder car je suis souvent en déplacement pour faire des réparations, et c'est le seul qui offre une aussi bonne portabilité.Le support se dévisse et se sépare pour offrir un support pour le fer à souder et un pour les éponges. On note immédiatement l'excellente qualité de fabrication, le nylon est épais, le support à une mousse antidérapante au dessous, les deux éponges fournies sont très durables et le tout est bien stable.Le nylon avec lequel est fabriqué le support résiste très bien à la chaleur, je m'en suis déjà servis une petite dizaine de fois et il n'a aucune trace visible, j'ai même fait accidentellement tombé de la soudure fondu dessus, et ça ne l'a pas abîmé du tout.La seule critique que j'aurais à faire est sur le support du fer à souder, qui gagnerais à être un peu plus lourd, il peut parfois pencher quand le câble du fer à souder tir dessus. Mais encore, rien de dramatique.Si vous cherchez un support pour fer à souder très solide, portatif est extrêmement compacte, je vous recommande vivement celui-ci. Bravo à Engineer pour cet excellent produit qui répond parfaitement à mes attentes.
