I ordered this brass solder cleaner for not only the brass pad but the holder which sits conveniently on a shelf. It ws easy to use and works great too!

Works well but I wish it had a little weight in the base.You have to grab it and hold it every time you stick a soldering iron in it because it's so small and lightweight.It's completely worth the money.

Inexpensive and works well. The handle keeps falling down decreasing its usefulness as a rest for a soldering iron.

Does what I need it to. I use it to clean my soldering tip and it works much better than the wet sponge did. It is also significant cheaper than similar ones I have seen. Only downside is that it takes up a separate space where the sponge has a spot on the soldering stand.

I don't know if it was due to the cheap iron I was using but this didn't clean it very well, but it's definitely better than nothing at all. Pretty much the best bang for the buck for someone getting into soldering, but definitely not professional equipment.
