The life vest is made well and seems to be good quality, but the sizing is off making it very snug. Definitely size up.

I took measurements, but this extra small still ended up being too big for my chug puppy. So he still can't go in the kayak with me. I'm hoping he eventually grows into it. It is a well made life jacket, will for securely and buckle down on the appropriate sized dog. Recommend that the manufacturer add a full measurement and weight chart for their jackets so that purchasers can size appropriately.

Picked this up and despite my best attempts it was just too small for my 77 lb male malamute.Other than that it really is paper light so I have my doubts about how effective it is as a flotation device/ assist.It is bright and visible, and seems to have decent straps. But due to sizing quandaries I had to donate mine. Measure your pup and don't do what I did which was give it my best guess with fingers crossed.

Trying to introduce our dog to the wonderful world of water sports.While I have been an avid canoe camper for years, my girlfriend and her dog are new to the activity.The dog is a Staffordshire Terrier mix and is pretty dense and muscley. I don't think she'd float very well on her own.I ordered this vest for her and really like it.It fits very securely and the construction is quite confidence inspiring.Solid stitching and good reinforcements at critical stress points like the grab handle.I do find that the sizing is just a bit off.The medium is supposed to fit up to a 26" chest. Her chest is 25" and I think I need to order a larger size as it's pretty dang tight.Aside from that, I am very impressed with this vest.Highly recommended.

I was a little skeptic prior to putting it on my pup.It seemed rather flimsy and very small. I would definitely order a size up.My poor pup was not a happy camper with this jacket. I have doubtsThe value is not there for me.
