This butter dish is great. Bought the larger size and glad we did. The lid fits snug and the rubber bottom keeps the dish from moving when taking butter when using. Great, well thought out design. Wife and I are very happy with purchase.

Excellent butter dish for multiple sticks of butter. This is exactly what I needed to keep butter on the counter at room temperature for baking. I love it. It’s very durable and the white color looks fresh and clean on my counter. It’s of good weight and seals very well. Definitely a durable item. After doing my usual reviews I chose this one and I’m really happy with it all around.

Love the size; however, it doesn’t fit my refrigerator’s butter holder. I am keeping it because I do like that it is easy to clean and can holder more than one stick of butter.

I just really like it, way more than I thought I would. I was looking just for an average butter dish and this was much better than I expected. What I originally didn't notice and was pleasantly surprised is that the black ring around the lid is actually a seal which is pretty tight, so it preserves butter much better than I originally thought it would. It has rubber feet which prevents it from sliding on slippery surfaces, like a stone countertop.The measurements are not as visible as they could be, but they are etched, so they would definitely last for the lifetimes of the dish itself. I had mine for about 6 months now and it is just a sold and reliable dish. Didn't scuff from the knife and fits the butter really well.I mainly use regular Kerrygold brick of butter and width-wise it fits snugly, so if there are butter bricks that are wider than this, they might not fit. But length-wise there is still plenty of space. I also periodically wash it in the dishwasher and so far there haven't been any issues you might expect from the dishwasher. It's still as good as the first time I took it out of the box. There is been no cracks and no other types of ware you might expect and the butter stays quite fresh inside.Really nice and solid butter dish that I would recommend.

Nice and big so the butter doesn’t get all over the lid. Good seal and easy to open. Nice simple design, sturdy plastic construction. Easy to wash.

Great quality for a non glass item. Doesn't seem to scratch easily if you avoid using scrubbies that is. I like the rubber seal, keeps butter fresh. It can fit an 8oz European block of butter, selling point ðŸ‘

I bought the 'European' shaped one, that takes a brick shaped block instead of an American style stick. My first impression was that it is too long, so it takes up more space than needed. Then I put a pack of butter in it and found the lid 'just' touches the butter. If they'd just added 3mm to the height it would have been better. As it is, I have to remember to scrape a mm or so off the top of the new brick when I put a fresh one in to stop the lid from being glued down when I next come to use it.

Very convenient and practical way to store butter while keeping it fresh!Pros:Airtight Seal: Keeps butter fresh by preventing air and moisture from affecting it, whether stored on the countertop or in the fridge.Versatile Design: Suitable for both countertop use (to keep butter at room temperature) and fridge storage -- we usually store our butters in the fridge.Convenient Size: Holds a standard stick of butter, making it easy to access and use.Durable: Made from sturdy materials, often ceramic or plastic, which are easy to clean and maintain.Cons:Limited Capacity: The dish is designed for standard butter sticks, so it might not accommodate larger quantities or different shapes of butter. We had to slice our costco butters to fit in this dish. The other half is kept in the freezer.Bulky for Small Spaces: The airtight lid and storage can be a bit bulky for smaller kitchen spaces or cramped fridges. This is just perfect though in our fridge!NOTE: Be careful on handling them. The airtight seal is so good but sometimes we tend to hold them on the cover and the butter ended up falling in the fridge. Hold it at the base! - Always!
