This seat is exactly what I expect from an OEM type replacement. Even though I didn’t see the Z355E John Deere zero turn listed in the description I found that it fits perfectly. Just transfer your arm rests and seat switch and you’re in business. You may want to get four new seat bolts if yours are in rough shape.

It seems to be solid but it came with no instructions and the bolt holes for the armrests are not the same size as OEM.

This seat is an exact match for my JD Z445 riding mower seat. Very heavy duty and all bolt holes line up perfectly. The problem I encountered was that the holes to attach the arm rests were not threaded. I had bought all new bolts from our local John Deere dealership so I knew I had the right fasteners. At first I thought maybe the armrest bolts would self tap themselves into the holes - but no such luck. Thank goodness I had a tap and die set and was able to correctly tap the holes to accept the bolts.
