Static Care ESD Mat Workstation Ground Kit - my mat did not come with a snap and I was too impatient to install the provide snap to it when I used this so I used a binder clip as a temporary solution. I was working on a PC with my nephew and got this so we could both have a grounding strap. it worked perfectly. the longer cable was nice since last time I used my grounding strap I needed to use a power strip to get closer to my work surface. I will tape it down next time.

Nice grounding kit I'm using with a static mat I also bought on Amazon. The double ground clicked right on to the existing anchor on the mat so I didn't need the included hardware. The wrist strap is good too. My three monitors used to black out due to my static electricity. After grounding the mat using this kit, I rested my keyboard on it and always have contact with my arms which solved the problem.

$15 would be the sweet spot for this. But it does give you what is needed to ground you true anti-static mat safely, as well as your self.Found the 1meg ohm resistance to be where it should be.The snap works fairly well. wrist strap works well. It'll wear like any other. I'm not a small guy, I can open up the strap enough to go up above my elbow so it's not dragging across my work area via my wrist.

Despite being labeled 1 megaohm, the two-jack block has less than 1 ohm of resistance between any two points on it and the male banana jack at the far end of the cable. The wall plug also has negligible resistance. The only significant resistance is 1 megaohm in the coiled cord with a snap-socket on one end and banana jack on the other for connecting the wristband.

Agreed with the other people saying this is garbage. The screws to attach this product to the mat are not the right type. The snap won't snap.

Tested the continuity of all wiring and the coiled ground wire doesn’t have any. There is a disconnect somewhere in the wiring so the product is useless. The rest works as intended, but I can’t use anything without the coiled wire.

I purchased the Gamers Nexus mod mat and this was the perfect replacement to the included grounding clip which required being screwed in. The plug in option is much easier.
