It's cute, sturdy, and easy to install. But when you use it, you knock the patina right off to reveal a silver metal underneath which ruins the effect.

I love woodpeckers! Received as a gift and very pleased. The item is quite heavy and well made. I think this would be a great addition to a rustic home in a wooded area.

This looks really attractive on the door, but no matter which way you hang it (you can hang it pointing up or pointing down) it doesn't really work great for a door knocker. It is confusing and not well-designed for that purpose. If you want a door knocker that will be used as a door knocker, I'd get a different one. It is very decorative though.

Really cute and my doorbell stopped working and I thought this was a great replacement. Only reason not 5 stars is I didn't receive any matching screws so I doesn't look the best.

Beautifully finished with a nice faux patina. Very heavy and sturdy construction. It really finished off the new front entry door and adds a bit of unique without being odd. Definitely know there is someone at the door when it's used :-)

I get lots of compliments because of this door knocker. I like the mottled effect which means it goes nicely with my green door, and I think its quite funny. Good quality and clever design. It is just a little heavy and quite loud which isn't necessarily a bad thing but I wouldn't call it discrete.
