I was finding that my cameras were running out of battery power faster than I'd hoped, probably from enabling HomeKit features. So instead of continuing to charge them now and then with a big battery and cable outdoors (I don't like to take them down and re-aim them), I decided to try Eufy's solar panels.I did consider some third-party solar panels because of the lower cost but what really pushed me to the official Eufy solution was that they took care to include a rubber seal to keep water from getting into the connection. In fact, they included multiple seals to provide for all of their camera models. This was a fact that I had a hard time figuring out online before buying so I'm uploading a picture to help clarify that.The other picture I'm uploading is a picture of the cord management. I could see that the solar panel came with a long cable but I could find no information about how to deal with extra that I didn't need. I thought I might have to use wire ties or something. But I was pleased to see that the back of the panel includes a place to wind up the extra cable.I really appreciate the value brought be those simple, but thoughtful, features.After running with solar power for a while I can see that the camera batteries are gaining in charge. They do charge somewhat slowly, which is fine because it's plenty to outpace the power the cameras are using.The only thing I wish they had included is a longer, possibly curved mounting arm to get around the gutter and above the roof line to point toward the sun when mounted on the north side of my house.

I've bought other Eufy products and I was happy with that. But with the solar with the camera is unbelievable! It's a great product and service! I would definitely recommend the products from Eufy! Easy hook up and install.

I installed a Eufycam 3 with the integral solar panel 4 months ago. The necessary location is not optimal for sun exposure. Even here, in south Florida, it was barely able to maintain 91% or so charge with almost no use of the integrated spotlight or even active monitoring. I am certain the charge would have continuously declined if I made any consequential use of the camera and its features. I was very hesitant to buy this solar panel because it strongly appears intended for previous camera models and only force adapted to this much newer camera. Nevertheless, I installed it last week and almost immediately the camera now seems to easily maintain a 100% charge. Although the panel is only a few feet away from the camera, it gets significantly longer and better exposure to the sun. I also do not know, because Eufy is annoyingly vague about this, if the internal battery is now fully dependent on the external solar panel or now both the integrated panel and external panel both contribute energy to charge the battery. Nevertheless, it appears to work great in spite of my fears that this panel was just a Eufy make do solution with an older product. I also do not know yet how truly water tight this solar panel is but to see good sun it is necessarily directly exposed to any rain. The heavy rains associated with the Florida summer afternoon thunder storms are now beginning to start so I am hoping it is indeed watertight.

I got this solar panel close to a year ago, and I can now report how it behaves through the seasons.The eufy camera attached to the panel is placed in a busy spot, and can lose around 6% in a day if it is not being charged. When it's not winter, this device charges the camera just fine: the charge level stays around 100% (or close to it) from spring until fall.But I live in Seattle. In the winter, this means long nights, low sun, and LOTS of overcast days. So once winter came, the charge level steadily dropped. Finally in December, I needed to charge the camera by plugging it in. Since then, its charge has gone up and down: it was recently as low as 40%, but after a few good sunny days in late January, it got back over 60%. (My panel is placed reasonably high and faces south.)I'm guessing most years I would need to manually charge the camera once, maybe twice. But without the solar panel, I could easily be charging 4-5 times annually. I do find the panel worth it, but you should not expect to completely forget about charging your camera again in some locales.

This panel has kept my Eufy solar camera fully charged without any issues, keeping battery charge above 98% at all times. This despite a it being in quite the ideal angle for solar collection. I originally purchased a generic panel, however, there was a definitely difference in quality and the Rudy panel had a convenient wire wrap behind the panel which kept the wiring nice and neat.

Mina eufy kameror sitter under tak och nockar i skugga, så detta var ett mycket bra alternativ för att hålla dem fulladdade med extern solcell. Galet bra!Lätt att sätt upp (installera). Har nu beställ fler till de andra! Såg att det fanns andra alternativ och märken. Men vill hålla mig till originalet.Glöm inte att ändra strömkällan till solcell.Mycket nöjd!

Ottimo pannello solare. Abbinato ad una videocamera, sempre Eufy modello SoloCam C210, mi permette di dismettere quelle Arlo che negli anni mi sono costate uno sproposito in batterie. La costruzione è solida e di qualità . Il supporto è in metallo e non in plastica. Comoda, inoltre, la possibilità di raccogliere il cavo in eccesso dietro il pannello stesso rendendo più pulita l'installazione. Nella confezione sono presenti tutte le guarnizioni di tenuta all'acqua del connettore per le videocamere Eufy.

De batterij blijft zelfs in november op 100% staan. Het zonnepaneel staat wel gericht op het zuiden. Verschillende dichtingsstukken aanwezig in de doos voor andere types eufy camera's. Installatie gaat redelijk eenvoudig.
