This diverter came boxed in a foam pouch along with a separate baggie that had a basic instruction sheet and two rubber washers intended for a shower head inlet fitting and shower wand inlet fitting. The diverter had a third washer already installed in its own inlet. The unit is metal, has some heft, and matches the chrome fixture I attached it to. I am hopeful that the little nub opposite the lever on the handle is hiding a set screw to take off the handle for cartridge servicing but, this is unconfirmed (I can see a bit of plastic looking in the inlet/outlets that looks like it could possibly be a cartridge). The selector lever is very easy to move and doesn't have detents or clicks to it. This means you can balance the flow in whatever proportion you want between the two outlets if you're trying to use both of them simultaneously, or you can just completely shut off flow to either one of the outlets, too. It does seem to have a good flow rate on either setting. The shower wand holder is firm but positionable, and it holds my old Delta wand nicely. It installed easily, and my tip here is to use a paper towel or rag in the mouth of the pliers you use to tighten the fittings down; this avoids scratching the finish. So far, it's great for the price, would recommend!

This diverter valve has a smooth function and no bypass drips so far. I do not however get an audible click at the different settings. The slip nut was easy enough to tighten to the position I wanted it at, and the side mount for the handheld shower did fit one of my sprayers. The chrome finish is very nice with a nice bright polish to it.The straight-through connection did give me some issues though. Several of my shower heads were too long for the provided threads and bottomed out on the neck of the diverter before compressing the o-ring, so I had to use a lot more teflon tape than I should have in order to get a nearly leak free connection. One of my shower heads would not even thread onto it either, even though it worked on several other parts with the same threads.

This shower diverter came in a simple unmarked cardboard box in a foam pouch, along with a separate bag that had a basic instruction sheet and two rubber washers. The diverter is solid, the crime finish clean and though it does scratch easily, there was not peeling or flaking issues.The shower handheld holder is simple and isn’t the most snug of fit and the main strain connection is a bit shallow, bottoming out on the shower head before compressing the ring. This did cause some issues, both rings and extra teflon tape needed to avoid leaks. This product does work but may not function the best for all showerheads or handhelds.

Mom broke her hip and has trouble standing in the shower. Having the shower head always spraying down on you is not the best when seated. I didn't want to just get a handheld as I LOVE my 8 inch rainfall showerhead. So this works for both. I have an adapter that hangs the handheld onto the handrail I installed and I can switch the water to it when she showers and back to mine when I go in.This will work with most handhelds on the market and having a built it holder keeps from having to install 2 parts and creates more chances to leak. This is a SOLID built unit.

WORKSWELL WITH ALL YOU NEED TO INSTALL. I was a bit upset it didn't come in brushed Nickel, so I got chrome so it doesn't match completely which will eventually have to be changed. My daughter wanted a handheld in place but also a shower head so this was the perfect solution. It allows me to connect the hose of the handheld and add a shower head thats large. She loved it. Easy set up, tape as needed and instructions too. I do wish the finishes had more options though it is for bathrooms

Much better than the old one the corroded and fell apart. Well made and good looking.
