Purchased this as a Christmas gift for my nephew. These are very good quality and he loves them! They work well to really soften the sound so you are able to play without being too loud and disturbing others. Perfect for anyone who lives in a smaller house or space. Would definitely recommend for anyone who is looking for a drum mute!

Really Work! Mutes the sound enough to allow practice in the houseThese mutes are a life saver for any wife or mother of a drummer or a drummer who needs to drum in closer quarters than those around them would like. My husband was drumming one room away and it was still impossible to watch tv or hold a conversation so we looked online for mutes. This set included all we needed except a cymbal mute and was a very affordable price so we ordered it and hoped for the best. GREAT decision!These mutes allow enough of the sound to come through that the drummer still gets actual practice but dulls the sounds enough that those in the next room can watch tv or hold a conversation. My kids were running around plugging their ears and complaining it was too loud every time my husband practiced and now he has been able to drum every night without them noticing enough to care. So worth the small investment! It probably cuts down on wear and tear to the actual drum head during practice too which means changing drum heads less often which means saving money!I highly recommend these for any drummers or their loved ones!

I tried other foam Chinese brands, and there is just no comparison. This brand's quality is unique. It reduces the volume and it doesn't break in the process. My only complaint is with the price of the total package, as the one that comes with bass and cymbals' is too expensive, 3 times the price of this other one.

We put these on our new drum set so our boy can play late at night without the neighbors freaking out. These covers fit each drum piece perfectly. They truly mute the sound up to 90% range. My wife is much happier since she can actually sleep at night thanks to these. Highly recommended!

Got these to cut down on the noise level for practicing, and these do a great job. Sound reduced by probably 60-70%. the drums don't resonate/ring with them on, but a dull deep thud sound. Which is fine for just working on dexterity exercises around the kit.

I recently took up the drums, and I wanted to spare my neighbors the racquet of my learning curve. I had been just draping hand towels over my snare and toms, but they would slip or fall off while I was playing so I decided to upgrade to proper mute pads for my drums. And I'm glad I did! These pads are excellent quality, thick and durable, which I would expect from the Evans brand. They mute the noise of my drums to a decent level so I can practice without disturbing my neighbors or damaging my own hearing. I highly recommend this set if you're in the market for some mute pads for your drum set!

I would be happier with these if they didn't claim that it doesn't change the feel of the drums. It does. Drastically. Instead of hitting a tight, hard surface, it feels like hitting a quarter inch of mushy neoprene, but that's probably only because you're hitting a quarter-inch of mushy neoprene. Also, our mounted toms aren't really on aggressive angles--certainly much closer to flat than vertical--if I had to guess I would say they are at about 20 degrees, and the pads don't really stay on. I mean, maybe for a short song they do, but you'll have to pull them back up every couple minutes. All that said, it's made a drum lesson conducted via skype just barely possible.

I try to practice on the drums in some shape or form daily. These help keep the noise levels down exceptionally well, with my wife saying all she can hear is faint tapping on rubber from the basement. Marriage saved! :) After a month of use, they seem to be holding up well. While these obviously don't offer the real feedback of an actual drum skin or practice pad, I find I can use them in other ways to strengthen my stick grip and speed. Only draw back is these things smell like rubber tires when you get them so you might want to air them outdoors or in a garage for a few days. Otherwise, they work as advertised.

Ricevute oggi. Ottimo prodotto che consente di allenarsi/studiare riducendo drasticamente il volume dei tamburi. Ottimo l'effetto di rimbalzo delle mazzuole. Nessuna controindicazione rilevata. Peccato solamente per il forte odore di gomma che promanano che penso (spero) dovrebbe diminuire col tempo.

Bought as a gift for my Dad (although I think my Mom appreciates them more). They fit my dad's standard size drum kit perfectly and definitely make the drums a lot quieter. They seem good quality, I'm sure they'll last.The arrived quickly and were packaged well. The price seems fair, cheaper than a lot of others I have seen and they do the job.Would be nice if the pack included a silencer for the kick drum too (obviously at an added cost) but we bought one separately so it wasn't a major problem.Would recommend.
