Moongels are wonderful. I've been playing drums for 25 years, and I just so happened to stumble upon these a few years back. They are great for reducing the ring of the drum, snare or tom. I tune my drums nicely and then add these babies for a very pleasing sound. 5 stars.

I love moon gels. They help get deeper tones on my toms. They get first easy but are so easy to clean with simple dish soap and air dry. Good as new.

I’ve used these before and other brands. These work best. They stick better. They offer great dampening. They are thicker than other products and I’ll continue to buy Moongels.

Probably the standard for removing excess ring on drum heads. I've used them for many years. They do what they're supposed to do, and do it well.

Drummer's: if you have used this product happily before, I can assure you that this is indeed the same product. The problem is now the company is no longer providing the black plastic carrying case for it. They've taken the cheaper route, and created a round cylinder out of the clear plastic that a shop would use to hang the gel container onto a wall display. This cheap clear plastic is thinner and will not hold up under any kind of pressure inside of any kind of drum case or trap case. The black plastic case that they provided before was much stronger. Hence, I have to knock off two stars from what would've been a five star review.
