I'm very happy and spent a little more money for this roller. I was hesitant at first, but decided to go for it because I wanted an offset roller.I was wondering how this one arm attachment point was going to affect the evenness of pressure, and after using I was happy. This tool is built really well and, I guess you can call it heavy duty, there is no play in the joints and the ergo grip gives you a great hold to be able put down some good pressure.Having a good, sturdy offset would probably make any roller better as long as they are built well. This one certainly is and makes work easier and better. First thing is that your grip is able to be parallel with the working surface and you have a few inches of clearance. Second, this type of grip allow you to put more pressure down, instead of pushing at angle and away from you. You also have a better view of the roller for more accuracy.If I ever find the need for another roller, it's going to be an Everhard! Definitely recommended over lower priced rollers for what I explained and it's built to last a lifetime.

This is a high quality item. I used it and it worked perfectly. It was a little more expensive than other rollers, but way better in all respects! I read reviews of other rollers and they all had problems like an uneven roller, the roller moving too much from side to side of its housing, etc... Very happy with it.

The absolute best roller I have ever seen. Has good heft, is incredibly sturdy and does a fine job. I think this will be a lifer.

Used for blueskin flashing to flintastic roofing and now tyvek tape. This roller has seen a lot of use and hard hard wear but keeps on rolling! Really easy to clean with mineral spirits and the head is still in great condition.
