I purchased this cable to actually use in a car audio system rather then welding application and it works excellent. The companies that sell the OFC and CCA wire for car audio charge way more for there wire. This wire is just as good, if not better, then those other wires. It has many tiny strands of solid copper wire inside, which is what you want for DC current. It is a good product and great value for the money, I will definitely be buying more.

Awesome wire. Wanted a true 4 gauge pure copper wire...and that is what I received. Insulation is very solid, but flexible. My job for 7 years was mobile electronics and I have installed many sound systems over the years, bought this for wiring an amplifier...perfect wire for this job. Made in the USA (One reason I bought it, and other is I knew it would be a true quality product). Great job EWCS.

Was in need of replacement wire for a boat rewire last winter. This arrived as expected. It is very flexible, and easy to work with (with proper tools). I was able to purchase the length needed, and have just a little left over. Quality seems good after one season of use, so if I need to do more in the future I will look at this again.

I used the wire to make quick release battery cables for my off road Land Rover. Have been tested intensevely and are really great, very flexibles and can cope with the heat with no problem. here in Colombia this size of wire in automotive wiring is really expensive (3-4 times more expensive).

Ordered to relocate battery to the rear on my civic SI, after reading reviews for copper coated wire i figured real copper is the safer bet. Its only 4 gauge but its been about 3 weeks and everything has been working fine, i just added an extra layer of protection wrapping the wire in the black plastic sleeves people use for audio installation. As the title says so far so good.

This is the real deal. Ive used this stuff both in 100 amp Tig/stick welding applications, and for heavy duty car audio. It's heavy and real copper, fills out the whole gauge size, compared to the bs you get with "subwoofer install kits" that have a thick plastic shield and a paltry amount of clad aluminum wire. For a subwoofer I don't know if I could tell the difference but for welding with my setup, I need to squeeze every amp out of it sometimes and this quality wire helps me do that. Plus it's just good ol American quality.

This is excellent wire no matter what your using it for. True to gauge too. I used it to install a automotive amplifier I'm very happy with my purchase. I purchased some power wire a few months back thinking it was copper, well it had more aluminum in it than copper. I'll be back to buy some more of this copper wire.
