Bad: What I was looking for was something that I could use to scan EMF and provide a LOUD alarm when levels were in a range that would interfere with a defibrillator implant. An employee with an ICD walking through an industrial plant, for example, would need to know if they are in an area that is dangerous to them. But industrial plants are loud, and employees will not be able to hear the quiet chirping alarm of this device over all the noise. (The alarm also sounds at very low levels and is not programmable to a level which is remotely closer to the actual threat level).Bad: I would expect a device that costs over $300 would have a rechargeable battery, instead of using AAA batteries that have the life of 8 hours. If this device is going to accompany an industrial employee with an ICD, the cost of battery replacements will be very costly over time.Good: I like the pocket size of the device.Good: I like that it measures not only electric fields, but magnetic fields as well.

i have not been able to cross check the readings with other products therefore i cant comment on precision and accuracy. i am happy with it simple easy to use, give readings as advertised instantly. Plastic cover used is not looking very good quality but i dont think that is a matter at all. sensors are the main thing here. The only thing i can comment at this point is that i saw some products with different brand similar to it, that are cheaper but i have no idea how much they differ. One of the items i saw has exactly same properties with this except RF voltage range little less than this. But i paid for it and trust this equipmet.

The specs and most websites indicate that this can be powered with a USB power cable and that it comes supplied with that cable. Neither are true. This is the Extech model EMF450 however there is no USB port on the device. There is what looks like a plastic punch-out panel where the option might once have been or may once be, but this device does not have that option, as indicated.

E' un rilevatore piccolo e professionale, sta comodamente in tasca e risulta molto utile per valutare il livello di inquinamento elettromagnetico dell'ambiente nel quale si effettua la misura. Misura contemporaneamente su tre scale differenti il campo magnetico, il campo elettrico e la radiofrequenza emessa da un trasmettitore. Ottimo per rilevare ad esempio il livello di emissione degli impianti WiFi, dei telefonini, dei cordless, dei forni a microonde, degli elettrodomestici, degli elettrodotti, e in generale di ogni fonte elettromagnetica. E' possibile scegliere l'unità di misura più appropriata per ciascuna scala. Unica pecca il fatto che usa 3 pile ministilo AAA che si esauriscono abbastanza presto. Una batteria al litio ricaricabile sarebbe stata il massimo. Comunque un ottimo apparecchio soprattutto considerando il peso e l'ingombro modestissimi.

Das Messgerät wurde schnell geliefert, die Bedienungsanleitung ist gut aufgebaut und das Gerät ist leicht zu bedienen.Das Farbdisplay ist bei direktem Sonnenlicht zwar etwas schlecht abzulesen, aber das ist durchaus normal. Ansonsten zeichnet es sich durch eine sehr gute Ableseschärfe aus.
