Worked perfectly to replace stripped out threads in an aluminum casting. Quality construction and easy to use. I was somewhat concerned because the original threads were in a bell-housing that had only about 1/2" of depth; therefore the inserts are longer than needed. However so far the repair is fine - the excess length of the insert is not really a problem, and I was able to cut off the installation tab from the back side.
