Better quality than the original that came with my Jerry can from harbor freight. This feels strong has held up so far hasn't cracked like the original and hasn't leaked. So yes it's kinda pricey for what it is and I probably could had contracted the manufacturer for a replacement but going through all of that showing receipts this was just a quicker easier option I needed my gas can.

The original screw cap on the midwest metal jerry gas can broke, so I started looking for a replacement. I came across these and decided to give these a try mainly because it included a solid blank cap. well these are a great fit for the midwest metal jerry gas cans they seal to the original spout and the blank cap makes a good seal. Only time will tell how they hold up with use and at this time I would recommend these.

Great fit for my 2018 Midwest Jerry Can. The original spout's holed screw cap cracked, so I bought a complete new spout/cap. I should have just bought this set and used it with the original undamaged spout.

I had ordered the EZ-POUR Rigid Spout Replacement and Vent kit for Water Jugs and Pre-2009 Gas Cans, but it would not fit my Garage Boss GB351 gas cans. I have many of the EZ-Pour gray gas caps which fit them perfectly. In the product fine print, I read about needing this kit. Made sense. But the Rigid Spout Replacement comes with two caps, a black one and a yellow one. They could have included the gray one as well. But this kit does come with a solid base cap. All that said, I am happy with this product and will no doubt order one or two more, along with the spout replacements to have on hand.

Fits Mid-West Can co. from HF Tools perfectly. This is not a self venting cap so you will most likely need/ want to install an aftermarket vent cap. Otherwise, not leaky and seals well. Note: there are several variations of caps from this company. Make sure you're ordering the right one for your can.

The expensive jerry cans I bought had the cheapest black thin plastic caps that cracked within weeks. Replaced with these and could not be happier. These are SOLID and well made.

I had an old gas tank with a worn out nozzle. Instead of tossing to buy a spills-more modern day replacement, I purchased this. It works out great and I will not be needing a new gas container. Highly recommend!
