Made from high-grade coated steel, each can is tested to guarantee 100% leakproof construction. The tough powder-coat finish resists chemicals and stands up to demands of rigorous use. Each Justrite safety can is equipped with a stainless steel flame arrester which dissipates heat to stop flashback ignition. Cans up to 1 quart (1L) feature a trigger-release handle, while larger capacities have a swinging handle to greatly ease carrying of heavier loads. Large label ID zone on swing-handle cans provides writing space to identity contents, department location, or individual user name.

I gave it five stars all the way around I must say we just got this gas can but,WOW what can I say.I have never seen such a beautiful gas can in my life even the guy at the gas station fawned over this gas can thought it was so beautiful sturdy well-made I can't say enough good things about this gas can thank you Justrite job well done

I bought this safety gasoline can last year to prepare for hurricane season in the south. I didn't have a need to use it last year, but did this year and I am extremely satisfied with it so far. I only filled it to about 4.5 gallons since it will be stored in a hot garage. There is absolutely no smell of gasoline, and it is 100% leak proof. So much better than the plastic ones I've used in the past. I highly recommend this product.

Amazing Quality, bought 3 other 5 gal. red (gas) containers, this time I needed to store Kerosene ( blue, but the price of the blue one is another 70% more than the red one, so I bought another red, why so much more money for the different color??? that’s why 4 stars instead of 5.

I have bought several of these and never had an issue. Meets the current OSHA regulations for our business, extremely safe for any home owner. Much easier to transport as compared to the plastic cans, more stable and seals significantly better than a plastic gas can. Now if Justrite would include their attachable funnel with all their cans of this style. Will buy again!

I liked the fact its not plastic, and it closes tight to seal out the fumes, it also pours easy with the additional spout.
