This radiator fan switch fits my Edelbrock intake only with the provided adapter. Once installed it activates my fan on ad off at exactly the described temperatures. Easy installation.

Used this to replace the cooling fan temperature control switch in the driver side cylinder head on my 1989 Corvette. The factory wire terminal will not fit since this switch has a blade terminal, but the correct wire terminal can be added if cutting off the factory wire terminal is not an issue. This switch has a lower temperature rating than the factory switch and apparently can only be had with a blade terminal. Once installed I found that the fans come on at 199 degrees and off at 187, right on the advertised spec.

The issue I'm having with this is...It is a NORMALLY OPEN thermal switch and CLOSES at 200 degrees to make the circuit for my new radiator fan in my 1988 Ford E250 camper van in which I switched from FAN clutch to Elec Fan. The problem is the Thermal switch does not Reopen its contacts at 185 Degrees to shut the Fan off, so the fan runs even at freeway speeds. I do not have an overtemp issue. I tested it in a pan of boiling water with a meter hooked up to it, and it did close the contact at 200 Degrees but wouldn't OPEN at 185 Degrees. I actually had to remove it from the water and blow on it till it got down to about 70 Degrees before the contact would re open. CHINA!!!! Yes I was using a infrared Thermometer for this test. This is not the 1st one I bought and didn't perform.
