A well made, very solid feeling horn. The pump moves smoothly and produces a very loud blast of sound. It can easily be used with one hand. I've used the air horns with compressed air in a can to scare away grizzly bears while camping. I was always concerned about running out of air or having the can develop a leak. This horn solves that problem PLUS I can carry on a commercial jet on remote trips in Alaska.

Works as it should. But instructions say attach pump to horn and operate. However, the black cap holding the diaphragm in place was not on tight. After a couple pumps, the cap blew off and the diaphragm was lost in the grass. Buyers will need to check that the cap has been tightened snugly before operation.

I use this airhorn to scare off bears when they come to the kitchen and dining room windows. It is nice and loud and does not rely on batteries or charging so it works anytime I need it.
