Due to the airtight design of our fermentation airlock we isolate the air and prevent oxidation. Fastrack brewing airlock exhausts automatically at room temperature without manual intervention.
  • EASY & SIMPLE TO USE: Insert the assembled airlock into the hole of the rubber stopper that fits your current jug or carboy. Fill the Bubbler Airlock with water and insert the drilled stopper or bung to vent gasses during fermentation. The airlock cap should always stay on top when in use to allow gas to escape and prevent the water inside from quickly spilling out if tipped over.
  • HOW IT WORKS: Airlocks enable CO2 to be released during fermentation and trap oxygen from entering the fermenter. The bubbler style airlock is the preferred airlock for secondary fermentation, as it is possible to monitor the pressure inside the fermenter, and is the go to winemaking airlock.
  • WIDELY USED: The fermentation airlock can be used in various fermentation projects to preserve food as well! The brewing airlock can be used to brew craft beer or wine, but also used for sauerkraut, kimchi, etc.

They do work well. This item makes it easier to keep oxygen out and you can also observe when it stops releasing the vapors.

They'll probably work. The rubber stopper looks like it's breaking down, and the plastic airlock has a good bit of flashing from when it was molded. i will update when i get to use them. I would look for a more quality product next time though.

These airlocks work just as they should. They are not the easiest to clean, though they are reasonable given their design. Get yourself a fine, flexible brush and you can scrub them from either side to remove any yeasty bits that made it up into them while fermenting.

Absolutely can’t bet the seal for outside air!! Really works well!! Just make sure u have the appropriate bung with center to fit these in!!

Works great. The bung that comes with is better for a 1 gallon jug as 6 gal carboys use a no.7 bung. Will likely order again as I could use a few more.

The rubber stopper is finicky and I had to force it in place with some string. I tried it on different carboys but the stopper is just too rubbery and slips outBut the actual air lock part works perfectly.

It's the right size for my one gallon carboy, good price, and good quality. The driver Shane from Bonshaw Distribution Network has been the most thoughtful delivery person ever!
