This is a great shredder for my use at home. Shreds to a fine pulp so offers great security for old bills, credit card statements, etc. Works smoothly and quietly with a decent bin capacity that's not too big or too small. I'd definitely recommend as an excellent shredder for personal/home use. There are a lot of shredder choices on Amazon, but this one gives me everything I wanted and performs even better than the one I had for many years before it. Excellent choice and value.

This shredder is for a 7-year-old Fellowes P-49C that quit working. I only buy Fellowes brand because I know I can trust them.Pro: It is not as heavy as my old one...fairly lightweightPro: It is a little quieter than my old one, but all shredders are noisy.Con: It is smaller than my previous one so I'll have to empty more often which is not a problem.Con: There is no on/off switch. When you plug it in, it's on. It tells you to switch from auto feed to "off" but there's no light indicator to tell you when it's off. I let mine on all the time anyway, so again no big deal for me.

The Paper Shredder Does Not Accept a Full Sheet of PAPER, The Slot is PARTIALLY BLOCKED! Attempted to Return to Amazon BUT I have No Way to Get or PRINT A Return Shipping Label as I have No WAY To READ A "QR: CODE which is The Only Only that Offers a "SHIPPING LABEL" of the several Offered. SO Now I have a ITEM I CANNOT USE! The Manufacturer suggest To Return It To AMAZON BUT without a Return Shipping Label that is NOT POSSIBLE. Being it was "SOLD" & "SHIPPED" By Amazon they have No Means To CONTACT Them Any Longer Like You Can with Any Other "SELLER"! So I am Stuck a Defective Shredder! Sad That Amazon Has NO Customer Service on Products They Sell Like Other Have which Will Offer a Return Shipping Label When NEEDED! Disappointing!!!
