Coupled with a CT Dust Extractor, the nozzle is held to the surface while helping to eliminate dust as it happens. Use in Conjunction with the BHC 18 or PDC 18 drills. Dual-chamber design utilizes suction for a CT Dust Extractor to provide suction to the surface/wall as well as extraction. Steel bushing accommodates drill bits up to 12mm diameter. Foam rubber padding protects while adhering to uneven surfaces. Hose receiver swivels to allow for repositioning of the hose as needed.

Like all things Festool it is well thought out and works amazingly well on textured/non-flat surfaces. A bit loud so it works great with Bluetooth connectivity on the dust extractor to turn on and off exactly when needed. It sucks every bit of drywall dust. Used it in a doctors office and saved a lot of vacuuming and wiping off drywall dust. Surprisingly inexpensive for Festool, a must buy and should have bought many years ago

Festool has a reputation of making pricey tools. They can me more expensive than other manufacturers; however, I've never regretted any of my Festool purchases. That aside, this dust nozzle is brillant! After many years of make-shift dust collection devices to use while drilling into drywall, this Festool Drilling Dust Nozzle is a game changer. Worth every penny and wish I'd found this product sooner.

Very nice tool to have if one can justify buying it for limited use.I used this product on basement cinder block walls that by nature are not completely smooth and it worked without a problem. A must have for any drilling especially in materials containing silica.The design is limited and really isn't "improveable" by the collar which can limit how deep a drill hole can be unless one has a sufficiently long drill bit that doesn't wobble and by limiting precise sighting to begin drilling.

It does what it’s suppose to. Basically no plaster dust when drilling in drywall to place in anchors.

Works exactly as advertised. It will stick tenaciously to whatever you are drilling, even rough-textured concrete. It collects virtually all the dust. If you drill all the way through something, some will fall out the other side. In all likelihood that other side is inside a wall cavity, so who cares.It's designed to fit Festool D27 hoses, but I think the angle adapter (shown on it in the product photo) will fit other sizes too. It will also work with the popular Bosch 27mm dust hose, though the dimensions are slightly different, and it's a little tighter than the Festool.My only complaint is that forcing the vacuum's air through such a small port means that this is a very loud tool.

I just got a chance to use these for hanging TV mounts. Worth every penny. They even have alignment ridges on the out side of the ring.

While this was advertised as a dust control method for drilling concrete, I use it in my carpentry business for drilling holes in drywall in customers homes. It uses the suction from your vaccuum to hold itself to the wall without leaving marks and sucks all the dust into the vaccuum as you drill. Essential tool for the tradesmen striving to project a clean professional image.

Ich bin wirklich begeistert von der Festool Bohrstaub-Düse, da ich zuvor immer mit viel Schmutz beim Bohren zu kämpfen hatte. Nach jedem Bohrvorgang musste ich jede Ritze absaugen, was sehr zeitaufwendig war. Zuvor hatte ich mir einen Bosch AdvancedVac 20 Industriesauger zugelegt, mit dem ich den Staub während des Bohrens eingesaugt habe. Oft hat meine Frau den Sauger gehalten, um den Großteil des Schmutzes aufzufangen.Mit der Festool Bohrstaub-Düse habe ich jetzt eine deutlich bessere Lösung gefunden. Dank der universalen Gummieinführung passt sie vermutlich an jedem Staubsauger, und die Sogwirkung hält die Düse sicher an den Wänden – sogar auf Rauhfaser. Einmal arretiert, hat man beide Hände frei, was das Arbeiten enorm erleichtert.Das Ergebnis ist beeindruckend: Das Bohren ist nun super sauber, und selbst am Bohrer haftet kein Staub mehr. Natürlich hängt die Effektivität auch vom Staubsauger ab.
