The role of this heat-resistant nylon peel ply is to improve the finish of your forged part. It’s highly drapable and easily conforms to curves and corners on your laminate surface. Don’t let the tight weave fool you, our nylon allows excess air and resin to flow through. So once the curing process is complete, you’ll get a stronger, lighter and more stable part with lower resin saturation. And you’ll love the release coating on the fabric that allows for easy removal of the peel from your part. The peel ply measures 60 inches wide by 36 inches long (or 3 feet long). Use with any of our epoxies or resins at temperatures up to 480F.

Seems like good stuff and it’s working well. It’s a long roll. Pay attention to the dimensions. Way more than I needed.

Nonstick to poly resin. Wicks the excess resin away from part. I was able to reuse several times. Best used with an absorbant fabric on top (like a holiday sweater or towel from Goodwill.)
