Such an awesome engaging toy. My child stayed busy and pulls it out of the cub-board often for an activity. It does come with tiny nails/pins, and I did have to help my child pin them in the holes because it was hard for her hand to apply pressure on such a tiny thing.

This is a cute toy and great for fine motor skills. My only complaint is the nails are teeny tiny, so I wish they were just slightly bigger.

Great activity for younger children to work on fine motor skills and hand eye coordination. My young child had a hard time inserting the nail into the wooden pieces. Same of the wooden pieces we struck together. The nails are somewhat on the smaller size, making it hard for small hands to hold and hammer at the same time.This item comes with templates to follow. However, the size of the board could have been a bit longer to fit the wooden pieces easier. It would also be nice if the wooden pieces came in a variety of sizes too.

My 3 year old daughter loves this toy the most. She hammers pictures everyday. The little nails are great and the board works so well! My 5 year old loves it too. The only thing I would suggest is a remover tool to ‘reset’ the picture board and pull all the nails out.

Steventoys Fine Motor Toys, Hammer and Nails Game for Kids Aged 3+, Tap Games Toys, Wooden Hammering Pounding Toy, Farm Theme Wooden Blocks PuzzleYears ago, when my adult children were younger, we had a similar toy. The object of playing with it is to create designs or scenarios by arranging a variety of wood shapes on a cork board. The shapes all have a little predrilled hole and there are small tacks and a wooden hammer for securing them to the board. This set is an improvement over our old one in that it has larger tacks, a thicker board and a greater variety of colored pieces, many with designs or images on them. There are also cards with images that can be copied, but children can easily enjoy creating their own scenarios. Playing with this provides children with a great opportunity for fun while developing their fine motor skills and engaging in creative expression. The problem with this item is that the painting job on the pieces is subpar. Many have extraneous marks on them or incomplete painting. Several pieces were stuck together and the paint peeled off when they were separated. A child might not notice those, but an adult certainly would. If that issue was corrected, this toy would be worth its price tag and make a great gift. Please be aware that this toy can be dangerous to babies and toddlers, and young children need to be supervised while using it.
