This is one sturdy/solid fire grate!! Our last one lasted for 10+ years, bit it was finally time to get a new one. wanted one close to same size and sturdy. THIS GRATE IS PERFECT!!! Very heavy - but I can still tilt one side up with one hand when cleaning. Solid metal. THICK metal. Size as advertised. It's made it through a few fireplace fires so far this season - 2 of which were all day sessions. Meaning started fire early in morning 6-7:30 am & kept going till about 10:30 pm-midnight. Not a single problem whatsoever. Other than the soot/ash can't even tell it was used. No blistering or change in shape/structure. THIS IS A FABULOUS PURCHASE and we are ABSOLTELY THRILLED!!!

I was impressed with how beefy and heavy this fireplace grate is. The 3/4" solid round bar is welded securely and should last a very long time. Many others in this price range offer square tubing, some of those are not solid, leaving narrow weld points.The round bar just makes much more sense.The ribs are spaced just right (almost 2"). The black finish looks durable as well.I really like the middle support bar to further prevent sagging over time. Again, this was all well though out.The curved ribs also does a good job keeping the wood pile in the center.For the price, you really can't beat it.

Nicely made, solid welding, very heavy and thick, great height to allow air flow underneath. Allows wood to sit perfectly and be arranged easily as well as allows for a good amount of wood at one time without the worry of it rolling out. So far, very impressive & a great value

Surprised by how heavy and well-made this was. Fits in our gel fireplace perfectly and with the ceramic birch logs, provides exactly the ambiance (and warmth!) we were hoping for.

My favorite part of this grate is the middle legs that keep it elevated off the fireplace floor. My old one was so warped that the middle touched the floor which didn’t allow oxygen to circulate so the fire would burn out and become very smoky. The 17†fits perfectly although if I had measured it ahead of time I could have gotten a longer one. It seems to be a good quality and is a good thickness which adds to the sturdiness. Installation, well you just have to sit it inside the fireplace. Recommend this one for its quality and price.

Has held up through multiple fires thus far! Has been worth the money. Now, to be fair, I live on the Texas coast where our winter only gets truly cold for about 3 weeks, so it’s not in use for very long! I expect it will last us for many years to come!

Ottimo prodotto, l'ho messo nel mio termocamino appena arrivato ed ho subito constatato che è fatto molto bene, robusto e con materiali idonei, infatti, nonostante diventi incandescente, non si è piegato assolutamente. Unica piccola pecca, i tondini dovrebbero essere un pò più lunghi sulle due estremità e soprattutto più inclinate verso l'alto per contenere più legna, che altrimenti rotola fuori (come dicevo si tratta di un termocamino e, per scaldare l'acqua, si deve caricare con parecchia legna se si vogliono portare in temperatura i termosifoni). Sarà una piccola modifica che farò da solo. Il rapporto qualità /prezzo è ottimo.
