This is a very nice mat. It doesn’t slide around easily and serves its purpose of protecting the floor from popping embers. It is a good size. Not too big or too small. Using this with a wood stove and it fits nicely in front of the slab the stove sits on. It has a good thickness and decent weight to it which helps contribute to it not sliding around. Definitely a good value.

Very thin and not very high quality. Fit is good. Haven't had any coals land on it as of yet to verify if its fire proof. Looks good on the floor. Size is great for our 40in fireplace.

The mat is quite thin and has a slight sticky feeling to it, even though there isn’t any residue on it. Based on the labeling, I’m guessing that is purposeful to prevent slipping. I’ve had the mat lying flat for weeks and the fold lines are still noticeable. We haven’t had any embers escape the fire yet to test how fireproof this is.

I don't like this fireplace mat, it's not a hearth rug at all.It's like a tarp you use to cover your barbecue or patio furniture outdoor as it's thin and no padded, no cushion.Normally a hearth rug is not only fireproof to protect the floor/carpet in front of the fireplace/woodstove but also a decoration for the room as in the winter time, the whole family gather near the fireplace at night to watch TV, listen to music or talk to each other and this one is just plain black.Then when I kneeled down to put more wood into the stove, my knees hit the floor as I forgot it's thin and no padded under (like the real rug).It might be fireproof (I have not have chance to prove it yet), but I'm thinking either I buy a regular rug to put under it or get a real hearth rug instead?

Meine Frau wollte nicht glauben, dass wir es bis Weihnachten nicht schaffen, Fliesen vor den Kamin legen zu lassen. Das frisch renovierte Wohnzimmer sollte aber zu den Feiertagen genutzt werden - insbesondere der Kaminofen.Die Matte kam zeitig und fand ihren Einsatz. Die Größe ist super für die Fläche vor dem Kamin, um die zwischenzeitlich gelegten Teppichfliesen zu schützen. Die Verarbeitung der Matte passt zum Material. Die feuerfeste Matte schützt tatsächlich, ist nicht brennbar und fängt zudem Staub, Dreck und Asche aus dem Kamin.Alles in allem eine super Errungenschaft. Wir würden erneut bestellen, werden sie aber bald durch Fliesen ersetzen. Dennoch volle fünf Sterne von uns.

Ich bin wirklich zufrieden mit der hitzebeständigen Matte. Die Verarbeitung ist erstklassig und meine Fritteuse steht sicher und rutscht nicht. Heiße Gegenstände können problemlos darauf abgestellt werden. Ob sie wirklich feuer- und extrem hitzebeständig ist, habe ich jedoch nicht getestet und möchte es auch lieber nicht ausprobieren. Insgesamt macht sie aber einen sehr guten Eindruck!
