Some of my hardwired fire alarms stated going bad after 8 years. These were advertised as the replacement for my originally installed alarms. They worked perfectly and were so easy to install. I didn’t need to replace the bases - but it came with both the base and the top. Liked that the product came with a battery for when the electricity goes out - but changed them for a recognizable 9v battery brand.

I had two detectors beeping when we came home from a trip. The batteries were good and I noticed they were right at the 10 years so I replaced all of them in the house. Very easy and much more reasonable than the big box store.

Works as advertised. However, the ring attached to the ceiling also needed to be replaced. While the wiring is the same as the old units and plugged in easily, the old ceiling mounted ring did not line up with the new alarm unit.

Exact replacement for 11 yr old detectors. Unit fits on mounting base of old detector so no need to drill new holes.

Verify the plug matches your existing plug or you will have to strip wires to install which is simple. It all is included even batteries. If I didn't just get co2 detectors I think I would have been happy with the combo. They communicate with my old ones that still work. But I'm going to replace those 4 anyway just to have all the same
