I caught two 6/7’ sharks. No problems with strength. I used both the size 6 and size 8 hooks. Both worked well.Just understand the steel leaders are too long to cast, almost 10’ long. But they are great if you kayak or drone bait out. Also check your local laws. Some states require circle hooks and non stainless steel only. These are “J” style hooks and stainless steel.

They work but I wish they came with a swivel.

I got a two tickets from the wildlife Officer! It’s against the law to use “J” hooks and stainless steel hooks when shark fishing in Florida. He told me the you have to use circle hooks because “J” hooks do too much damage. Also said you have to use regular steel hooks so if you have to cut the line the hook will eventually rust and fall out.

These were easy to handle with the coating on the wire. They did not kink when pulling on large fish. I was able to catch 14 Big sharks including a 9 foot Bull shark in the florida keys with these and I had no cable failures on hooks go straight. These were only lost if I snagged them on the bottom.
