What can I expect to catch with this rig?
The supplied deep drop rigs come with 8/0 circle hooks. The 8/0 circle hook is an ideal size hook for blueline tilefish, grouper, snapper, golden tilefish, blackbelly rosefish, barrelfish, Red Snapper. If you are targeting smaller snapper, from the 2-5lb range, we offer a similar deep drop rig in a smaller 6/0 size. Just search End Game Tackle Deep Drop Snapper Rig in the search bar.
How do I use these deep drop fishing rigs?
The top of each rig has a 255lb barrel swivel that is meant to attach to your mainline. It can be tied directly to the mainline.
Each hook should be baited with fresh bait, such as a piece of squid or cutbait.
The 225lb coastlock snap at the bottom of the rig is for attaching your deep drop fishing weight.
You do not need an electric fishing reel for deep drop fishing, but it certainly helps when bringing up 3-5 pound deep drop fishing weights. A dedicated deep drop rod will help with the heavier deep drop weights, but again, it is not a necessity.
Rinse your deep drop rig with fresh water after use and hang it up to dry.

Very high quality , parts used when he makes them all seem heavy duty. Will know more when try them offshore. Having a swivel on each book setup off main line with crimped beads holding them independent looks like will reduce tangled when multiple fish strike at once and 250 pound center line should be heavy enough for whatever strikes
