I like these a lot, I have bought these twice. It has the melted candle look to make it seem more realistic. Each candle takes two AA batteries. The reason why I got this was for it's remote control feature. I am able to turn it on and off without manually taking the batteries out or flipping a toggle on each one. It makes it very practical for decor.

I bought these to use this Halloween decorations, and so far I am very impressed with the remote control that turns them on off and also gives you a timer so they'll just shut off after a few hours. This is such a game changer as I don't have to go outside every night and turn them off manually. You do have to stand right under the candles when they're outside to get the remote to work but that's fine. We have a few inside and have tested the timer and they work very well. I'm only giving four stars because I just put them up and I don't know how they're going to withstand a whole month being outside in October so I will follow up. So far I am very happy with these candles.

Firstly I want to explain that this is my second time ordering this product. The first time the item came neatly boxed with an outer box and a 2nd box inside that nicely separated everything into sections pre assembled. The candles are beautiful and function beautifully with the 2 remotes included. This is why I ordered a second set. Sadly the quality and care put into the product was not evident in the second packaging. Both boxes were very damaged. Almost all of the led light covers that look like flames had been torn off and randomly scattered in the bottom of the box. The outside box had a hole, and the inside box looked like someone ripped into it then just threw everything dismantled back into the box to return it. Then the company just smacked a tag on them, charged full price as if they were new, and sent them to me. I had to look down my driveway to find some of the pieces that had fallen out of the box before delivery! Why am I paying full price for secondhand items? If everything had been like the first batch it would have been 5 stars. I’m giving 3 only because once I found and reassembled the missing parts, everything did work.

If you’re going to develop a product and sell it to the public, it would be a good idea to make sure it works and save us the trouble of having to return.I bought 2 sets of these candles and 4 do not work. The directions say to put the batteries in a certain way - however, it took many tries of inserting the batteries in different directions to get the 8 to light. Although each set comes with a remote control, most of the candles dont respond to it, and just stay lit. So i have to loosen the battery cap when i want to put them out. I’m paying with good money, i expect to receive a good product! Not so in this case.Im not one to write reviews, but im pissed that i wasted my time waiting for this crap to arrive, and then spent an hour trying to get them to work. I want my money back.
