This is a very intuitive piece of kit with a pretty shallow learning curve. The set stacks together easily, and the magnets are plenty strong enough to keep the whole thing together while you’re on the move. Adds minimal weight to your camera setup, and sits much more firmly on the flash than fabric soft box options.Potential buyers should note that the diffuser half-globe fixture is hard plastic, and will take up a pretty substantial amount of room in your camera bag, but you can nest other items inside of it, to make it a little less obtrusive.The filters are entirely effective, but will probably be your least-used part of this kit, as they’re primary plus green, but they’re still quite fun and effective for artistic shots.The filters are probably best-used in conjunction with the included honeycomb attached to a remote flash positioned behind the subject, for the purpose of washing your backdrop in a bright, intense color.Other gel filter sets will have more options for color-correction gels, and this fixture *will* work in conjunction with those inexpensive rubber band-mounted sets, in instances where you need more subtle results.

I've been using this diffuser all year and absolutely LOVE it. I bring two flashes with me and I love that I can swap it quickly and easily if one dies. I think it gives off a nice soft light and isn't too conspicuous. Only suggestion that would make it better would be a shorter screw

Got to try it out at a 8 hour event last night. It’s not bulky, sits tight on the flash, even while I had it hanging on my belt. I like my Gary Fong, but it’s bulky, and it comes off the flash at times.

I don't care for how it attaches to the flash head (pressure screw-could accidentally damage your flash + it's unsightly) but the materials are excellent quality. The components attach to the base via magnets that are so strong there is no worry that a bump will make them fall off. Components can be used in any combination too. I bought it primarily for the diffuser. There's a learning curve involved, but I would definitely buy it again.

Demoró en montarlo, es complicado calzar los imanes cuando estás trabajando. Tienes que detenerte a mirar de que lado va y a veces necesito hacer las cosas por mero tacto y sin ver.
