Gobbling can be a difficult turkey call to master, but it doesn't have to be with the Thunder Gobble. The ergonomic mouthpiece and double reed construction of this hybrid design give callers the most important element of a good gobble: control. You get to adjust the volume, rhythm and tone on your terms to ultimately make a nearby tom give in to those terms, too. Use the Thunder Gobble as a shock gobble for locating or in conjunction with hen mating yelps to add realism to your calling sequences.

The product was difficult to use, probably defective. After waiting on hold for over a half hour, the company customer service said return the call at your expense and we may send you a new one. The cost of shipping is almost the same as the price of the call. Might as well just go out and buy a new one. Should have got it at the local sporting good store.

I used this call in the Missouri Spring Turkey season for those gobblers that were held up and wouldn't come in. It is pretty easy to use and sounds ok. I don't know of another gobbler call that sounds better. NO Cal I have ever heard sounds like a real gobbler.

I am not an expert turkey caller, but I have successfully called in several gobblers. I bought this to add to my arsenal, thinking that gobbler sounds might help me get the boss tom fired up more than standard hen yelps, cutts, and purrs. Compared to a standard gobbler shaker call, this was a challenge to learn to use and did not produce realistic sounding gobbles. I returned this and bought a shaker to replace it. Much easier, with no learning curve and realistic sound.

It takes some practice, but is the most realistic gobble call I have ever used! I have had the Haint, several shaker calls, and box calls. None are even close to being as realistic as this one.

Plastic package had been previously razor knifed open across the face of the package. It only got worse from there… I would love to see a video of how it works and what it is supposed to sound like. This was a gift so it was a great disappointment from start to finish
