My favorite way to hear a tank without light! These are so much better than a ceramic heat emitter. Very good at getting heat deep in a tank and they last a very long time. Great value for the money as they fit in any heat lamp.

Give off great heat is very good at reaching the bottom of my 4 foot tall enclosure!! I use it for my ball python and love it! It’s very functional not very bright at all which I love. I have had this for while and it’s still going strong. Looks sleek great for the price!!

Our house stays quite cold and my tank is right next to a pretty drafty window... and it's winter. It very easily keeps my 10gal tank 84F+, and paired with a thermostat, it spends more time off than on. When I upgrade my frog to a 20gal, I feel confident that I don't need to upgrade the heater. It does dry out tanks, but that's to be expected with any heating solutions. It's very simple to use - no overly complicated switches, just an off and on. Works great.

I had been using the Arcadia deep heat projector (80 watt) and I quickly realized that I still needed to use additional heating sources to keep my ball python’s terrarium at a good temperature. It barely put a dent in the temperature and it was more expensive.This Flukers deep heat lamp quickly warmed my entire 4x2x2 enclosure. I have all of my heating elements on dimming thermostats and this has no issue keeping up with the thermostat settings. Really wish I had went with this one in the first place especially since I already have the Fluker’s domes. We’ll see how long the lifespan is. There is a visible light emitted compared to the Arcadia but this one claims that it’s not visible for reptiles so hopefully that’s the case.My snake immediately started basking under this one and I’ve never seen her bask with the other. She loves it!

I actually had a friend tell me about this product after I purchased traditional heat lamps. This bulb only produces heat. It does not produce light. It's extremely good quality for the price. And it lasts and really long time. Just make sure you be careful with these. They produce lots of heat so monitor them closely.
