Lightbulb worked for all of one day. Then I found a crack at the base were you screw it in. It would have had to be packaged like that. it had been handled carefully so I doubt that it was an accident on our part. Luckily I walked by the turtle tank. Really mad that they were sitting in the dark after paying so much for a bulb so that they wouldn't freeze.

recieved this on october 20 and today it blew. was using a lamp that goes up to 150 W. not sure what happened.

Are used this light for my turtle’s basking rock in his aquarium. It works great but, my only complaint doesn’t last for a long about 20 days before the light dies.
