I like this company and their products. I have both high pass and low pass versions of this, in both 100Hz and 70Hz for subwoofer bi-amping/by-passing. Good quality product, good fit with my RCA cables and amp connectors. Small and unobtrusive. I did not do any scientific measurements on these items. From experience I know that a good quality crossover can easily cost several hundreds of dollars just in components, so... I am not sure how they pack coils, resistors and capacitors in these small devices, but they do seem to work. It sounds pretty good, and I have a highly resolving hifi system.

I put this in my car audio system because my 6x9s were chopping up the vocals with songs that had significant bass (I already have a subwoofer). I got the 100hz hi-pass, and these worked perfectly, I will probably buy more for my 6.5s to totally eliminate the chop. I would totally recommend.

Using a pair of these with Magnepan LRS+ and two small subs. I was able to eliminate a relatively minor, but noticeable low frequency bump in my room using these. Had no impact on sound quality, although now that the Maggies are free below 100hz, they can handle complex big stuff (like symphony) at higher volume without sounding as congested.

I bought a fmod 100hz (12db rolloff) high pass filter to use with my Emotiva Airmotiv 4S and Rythmik L12 (unlike the sb2000 it doesn't have a built in 80hz HPF built in due to being $200 cheaper). Playing the same music on the Emotiva 4s with these crossovers, everything sounds so much cleaner and refined. Just the way I like it. It confirmed my idea that the low end (50-80hz) on the emotiva 4s while nice, isn't as clean as my ears are used to sadly. I've been spoiled by having nice direct servo subs (Rythmik LV12R).The FMOD high pass filters have zero noise or added distortion. They do lower the noise by 1-2db though, which is a good tradeoff. Sure I could make something like this by myself, but for $26 shipped it's a no brainer.

Used one of these 100hz highpass on my surround in wall speakers input to my receiver as they were overworking with the bass turned up. With the bass turned up now they are blubbering and didn't sound very clear with the unit installed. Disappointed they didn't sound any clearer with these units. Almost think they sounded better without. But maybe they just couldn't handle the bass boost going through them. Going to play with them a bit and see if they are going to be usable or not in my setup.*UPDATE* After reading up on these I found I could double them up for more reduction of the unwanted frequency and have to say I'm pretty happy with the sound quality now. It handles the low frequency allot better doubling them up.

The crossovers worked great. The 100 Hz high pass filter removed the low frequencies that my 5" monitors can't handle. The speakers can be driven louder with no distortion.

They look good but a noticeable degradation in sound quality. I don't recommend these. Make your own using high quality capacitors.

Does exactly as advertised. ZERO distortion, excellent bass cut out (or low pass if you are using that style). But, here is my #1 problem with these. LABEL WHAT IT DOES ON THE UNIT ITSELF! I bought several and have had to go online to find out which one did what using their propitiatory color coding chart. Might not be a big whoopin' deal for some, but IMHO, they should have marked them vs putting a color stripe on them.
