Your cart is empty.High density foam has a compression rate of 44lbs. It features the perfect amount of cushioning and stiffness. Its soft but still holds its firmness and support for an individual to sit on it without compressing the foam too much. Compression = firmness compression (not density) is what determines firmness. If you dont want a cushion thats hard as a rock or a mattress that sinks when you sit on it, you have to check the compression or ild number. Compression means the number of pounds necessary to compress a piece of foam 25% and still bounce back to the original thickness. For example, a 4" thick piece of foam that requires 33 lbs. To pack it down 1" and have it return to its full 4" thickness has a 33 lb. Compression rating or (ild) -indention load deflection. - all foam sheets are sold per sheet - not per yard. Do not open with a box cutter. Use a ball point pen or a pencil. Start by making a little incision and break it from there - durability : will last 7 to 10 yearshigh density foam is used for firmness yet relaxable cushion. It has high quality compression and material to keep it lasting for longer periods of time even when harsh weight is applied.

We purchased an inexpensive sofa a few years back and the cushions have lost their density. It felt like we were sitting on the floor. The upholstery was still in good shape though. I called a local foam company to inquire about replacement cushions and the price for all was more than the sofa was worth.We ended up purchasing these replacement foam sheets due to the good pricing and they are pre-cut to the proper size we needed. The installation was fairly easy. It can be a bit of a wrestling match with the foam, but take your time and work it into the case slowly. The sitting surface is nice and firm and comfortable. We are happy with the result and the cushions have held up well so far.

What a money saver these cushions are! My sectional cushions were wearing out so I took a shot with these as a replacement. Turned out to be perfect!! A little stiff at first but then softened up for maximum comfort after a few uses. Love these cushions and would buy again.

I’m sure time will tell but this foam saved me from having to buy a brand new couch. After watching a few you tube videos I was able to change out my worn out cushions and create new ones that are once again firm and comfortable. These foam pieces arrived vacuum packed that popped right open to the full size within seconds. I let mine sit for a couple days to be sure I was working with the full size. The sizes were perfect from what I ordered and they seem to be a very good quality. If you have the time and patience I would recommend resurrecting your cushions instead of buying a new couch.

Since new couches cost so much right now I decided to just make my own new cushions and refurbish my old couch.I ordered the 6 inch x24x24 high density foam with 44lbs of compression rate. Which means for every 44lbs the compression rate is 25% as i learned. So make sure you buy 'density' in foam based on the weight of the butts going to sit on it.For me this compression rate was ideal and it is firm yet still comfortable to sit or lay on for extended periods of time. If you want something softer get medium density foam or something with a lower compression rate.The foam arrives rolled up inside a box and the instructions tell you to take it out within a few days of arriving and let the foam sit and return to regular shape for 72 hours. For me they returned to shape within 24 hours since they were just rolled and not vacuum sealed.I did have to cut the foam I actually needed like 20 inches x 22 inches but it was easy enough to draw on with a marker and I used a serrated bread knife to cut the foam, you could also use a saw i suppose. It's easy enough to cut.The 6 inch height though has ended up putting me much higher on the couch than I was originally. I maybe could have gone with a thinner foam, but i think I will just get shorter legs for the couch to compensate.Overall happy with how this project turned out. Now i guess time will tell how durable they are and how long it takes them to dip in the middle.

My dogs are couch destroyers. I have two large dogs who like to scratch at the couch and arrange blankets using teeth and claws to suit themselves. This tends to lead to holes in the fabric and once they can get at the foam, it's considered a toy rather than a functioning peice of the couch. Since the cushions were the only thing destroyed, I thought it'd be easier to buy foam than a new couch.I had been looking at buying bulk foam and cutting it down to what I needed, but I've cut foam before and it looked like a kindergartener did it. These were fairly reasonably priced and I figured they'd actually be square. I knew I wanted thick cushions because the couch springs aren't great and I like a big, comfy couch. I was hoping for 8", but the 6" ended up doing the job.They're a little firmer than I usually prefer, but that's probably better since the couch was cheaply made and has seen better days. This couch is a three piece sectional. In the spot where the sections meet up, there was always a hard ridge that you could feel through the old cushions. It was really uncomfortable, but you can barely feel it through these new cushions. I'm happy enough with how it turned out to reorder everything for the last couch section.

Size was correct. Very dense replacement sofa cushions, to bring new life and support into my old sofa seat.I have purchased from this seller previously for my van conversion bench- bed. They have provide good quality product, with no off gassing issues.I will be ordering more foam cushions in the near future.

We have a bed with a headboard that requires attching it to the wall. When we moved into a rented townhouse, we needed an alternative, I found these on Amazon and my wife bought fabric to cover them which we now use as a comfortable, attractive headboard for our bed.
